Bring a dangerous new presence to your Minecraft world with the Jenny Dweller Addon. This Bedrock addon adds a custom hostile mob with its own model, animations, sounds, spawn egg, and natural spawning rules. Read on to learn what the addon actually includes, how to spawn Jenny Dweller, and how to install both required packs.
Jenny Dweller is a custom entity identified as
pa:jenny. It uses an iron-golem runtime base, but has its own appearance, behavior-pack definition, resource-pack assets, and custom sound effects. The entity can spawn naturally in eligible monster-tagged biomes and can also be summoned or spawned with its spawn egg.
- Maximum health: 250.
- Movement speed value: 0.36.
- Melee attack damage: 3, with a configured Slowness effect for 30 seconds.
- Targeting includes players, as well as hoglins and zoglins outside Peaceful difficulty.
- Fall damage is disabled; lava deals damage over time.
- The entity uses the vanilla iron golem loot table. Drops may depend on the Minecraft version.
- Custom animations cover walking, chasing, attacking, and offering a flower. Custom sounds are provided for being hurt, dying, walking, and throwing.

Description |
| Jenny Dweller |
pa:jenny |
A hostile, iron-golem-based custom mob with 250 health. It can target players, attacks in melee, and may spawn naturally in monster-tagged biomes under the configured light conditions. |
- Find the spawn egg: In Creative mode, look for the Jenny Dweller spawn egg in the spawn-egg inventory. The addon defines a custom spawn egg for this entity.
- Spawn it with a command: Enable cheats and run
/summon pa:jenny. To summon it at a specific position, use /summon pa:jenny x y z with the coordinates you want.
- Encounter it naturally: Jenny Dweller's spawn rules require a biome tagged for monsters. The configured conditions allow surface and underground spawning at light levels 0–7, and an additional underground condition at light levels 1–15. Natural spawning is controlled by Minecraft's spawn system, so it is not guaranteed at a particular location.
- Prepare for combat: Keep your distance if you are not ready to fight. Jenny Dweller can target players, and its melee attack can apply Slowness.
This addon does not define a hatchable egg, breeding mechanic, taming mechanic, rideable component, or custom material-gathering system. The spawn egg is used to spawn the mob; it is not an egg that hatches over time.
- Hatching: Not supported. There is no hatching item or process in the addon files.
- Breeding and taming: Not supported. No breeding or taming components are defined.
- Riding or flying: Not supported. Jenny Dweller is not configured as a mount and has no flight controls.
- Collecting materials: There are no custom drops or ingredients defined by this addon. Its entity points to Minecraft's vanilla iron golem loot table.

The addon does not add craftable items or recipe definitions. |
Use the Creative inventory or the summon command to spawn Jenny Dweller; no crafting recipe is provided.
The addon does not add equipment, armor, weapons, or equipment bonuses. Jenny Dweller's configured special combat effect is Slowness on its melee attack, lasting 30 seconds. This effect belongs to the mob's attack and is not an equipment effect.
| Command |
Purpose |
/summon pa:jenny |
Summon Jenny Dweller at your current location. |
/summon pa:jenny x y z |
Summon Jenny Dweller at the specified coordinates. |
/kill @e[type=pa:jenny] |
Remove all Jenny Dweller entities in loaded areas where the command applies. |
Commands require cheats or the appropriate permissions.
- Make a backup of your world before installing addons.
- Copy the Jenny Dweller Behavior Pack folder into your Minecraft Bedrock
behavior_packs directory.
- Copy the Jenny Dweller Resource Pack folder into your Minecraft Bedrock
resource_packs directory.
- Launch Minecraft and open the settings for the world where you want to use the addon.
- Under Behavior Packs, activate Jenny Dweller Behavior Pack.
- Under Resource Packs, activate Jenny Dweller Resource Pack.
- Confirm both packs are enabled for the same world, then enter the world and test with the spawn egg or
/summon pa:jenny.
Load order: The two manifests link the packs by UUID and declare each other as dependencies. Enable both; the addon does not document a special relative priority or a conflict with another pack. If you use other packs that change the same entity or its assets, move the Jenny Dweller pack above conflicting packs in the relevant pack list, or disable the conflicting pack if the mob does not appear correctly.
This project contains unpacked pack folders. If your device expects an importable
.mcaddon file, these folders must first be packaged in a Minecraft-compatible format; no packaged installer is included here.
| Version range |
Status |
Reason |
| Earlier than 1.17 |
Not supported |
The pack manifests declare Minecraft 1.17.0 as the minimum engine version. |
| 1.17.x |
Minimum declared |
Matches the minimum engine version in both manifests. This is a manifest declaration, not a report of a live in-game test. |
| 1.18–1.21.x |
Not verified |
The files use Bedrock entity, spawn-rule, and animation formats, but no test results for these versions are included. |
| 1.22–1.26+ |
Not verified |
The manifests do not list a tested maximum version. Compatibility with 1.26+ cannot be guaranteed from the addon files alone. |
For versions above the declared minimum, test the addon in a copied world first. If the game reports content errors, the pack may need updates for that specific Minecraft release.
- The mob is invisible or looks incorrect: Check that the Resource Pack is activated along with the Behavior Pack, and move it above packs that replace related entity assets.
- The spawn egg or entity is missing: Confirm both packs are installed and enabled in the same world. Try
/summon pa:jenny with cheats enabled.
- The mob does not spawn naturally: Test with a spawn egg or summon command first. Natural spawning depends on the biome tag, light conditions, density limits, and Minecraft's spawn selection.
- The game reports a pack error: Verify the Minecraft version, reinstall both pack folders, and check whether another addon is replacing the same entity or resource files.
- Installation does not import automatically: The supplied project has separate unpacked pack folders, not a ready-made
.mcaddon installer.
- Is Jenny Dweller friendly? No. Its behavior includes targeting players and attacking in melee.
- Can I tame or breed it? No. The addon defines neither taming nor breeding mechanics.
- Can I ride or fly on it? No. It has no rideable or flying setup.
- Does it have a custom crafting recipe? No. The addon includes no custom recipes.
- Does it spawn during the day? The spawn rules include an underground condition that allows light levels up to 15, as well as a surface-and-underground condition capped at light level 7. Actual spawning still depends on the biome and the game's spawn system.
- Is it confirmed to work on Minecraft 1.26+? The manifests declare 1.17.0 as the minimum, but the supplied files do not provide 1.26+ test results.
