Dawn Craft Addon Collection is a large Minecraft Bedrock and MCPE adventure collection assembled from several independent behavior packs and resource packs. It expands exploration with new biomes, structures, mineshafts, dungeons, equipment, backpacks, utility blocks, food, mobs, visual effects and survival tools. Because the folder contains separate addons, install only the packs you need and test them in a copy of your world.
This collection is not one single manifest. It is a group of compatible-looking packs with different authors, namespaces, versions and dependencies. The strongest gameplay modules visible in the files are Better on Bedrock, Traveler's Backpack, Expansive Biomes, More Structures, Nico's More Mineshaft, The Forgotten Legends, DisEnchanter, Epic Knights, Experience Storage and several smaller utility packs.
- Exploration: new biomes, structures, mineshafts, ruins and dungeons.
- Survival: backpacks, waystones, food, storage and uncrafting utilities.
- Combat: knight equipment, shields, armor, weapons and special projectiles.
- World atmosphere: sounds, textures, particles, animations and custom blocks.

- Activate the required behavior and resource pack pair in the same world.
- Use the creative inventory to identify custom item names and namespaces.
- In survival, explore structures, mineshafts, ruins and dungeons for loot.
- Use the crafting recipes listed below for Better on Bedrock backpacks and waystones.
- Run a summon command only for testing or for items that have no survival acquisition path.
No custom dragon egg, creature egg or incubation controller was confirmed in the inspected collection. Do not expect an incubation mechanic unless a specific installed pack adds one in its own entity and item files.
The verified custom mobs are encounter, NPC, magic or technical entities. No reliable breeding, taming, saddle or flight component was identified. Vanilla animals remain usable with their normal Minecraft mechanics.
- Craft or obtain a backpack item.
- Use the item to place the backpack block or open its storage behavior.
- Keep the backpack in a safe location and avoid breaking it while full until its behavior is tested in your version.
- Traveler's Backpack includes standard, pig, fox and Andriel variants with custom storage behavior.
Explore the added biomes for coconuts, cherries, lavender, dune grass, cactus, firefly jars, bear pelts, vibranium materials and other custom resources. Mine dungeon and mineshaft areas carefully, because some encounters and projectiles are hostile.

Other folders contain additional recipes. The in-game recipe book is the authoritative source for the exact version installed because several files appear to be revisions or renamed copies.
- Backpacks provide extra storage and use technical inventory entities. The inspected Traveler's Backpack inventory is configured with up to 45 slots for one storage entity.
- Backpack blocks have explosion resistance and custom placement behavior.
- Waystones are intended for fast travel or teleport-style utility through scripts and events.
- Epic Knights and Templar packs add knight-themed armor, shields, weapons, models and attachables.
- Expansive Biomes adds vibranium equipment, including armor, sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel and hoe variants.
- Bear pelt armor and related materials appear in the Expansive Biomes resource definitions.
- Iceologer and enchanter events can create ice, dripstone, fireball and lightning hazards.
Enable cheats before using commands. Namespace names can change when a pack revision is replaced.

Use
/function names only when the corresponding behavior pack is active. For a safe test, create a new creative world first.
- Make a backup of the world.
- Import matching behavior and resource packs as pairs where both exist.
- Start with the core gameplay pack, such as Better on Bedrock, then add its matching resource pack.
- Add dependent pairs: DisEnchanter Behavior with DisEnchanter resource, Nico's More Mineshaft BP with RP, Experience B with Experience, and Forgotten Legends BP with RP.
- Add utility packs such as Traveler's Backpack and Uncrafting after the core pack.
- Place visual or resource packs above behavior-only packs when Minecraft asks for a priority order.
- Keep only one revision of duplicate families such as Epic Knight, Player Activity or numbered pack folders.
- For The Forgotten Legends, select the Normal Edition subpack. Do not use the Development Edition unless you are developing the addon.
- Activate required experiments only when the pack documentation or the game reports that they are required.
- Test one pack family at a time, then add the next family. This makes conflicts easier to identify.
Recommended priority from lowest to highest is: base resource packs, biome and structure resources, equipment resources, utility resources, then a pack's matching behavior configuration. If a pack manifest declares a dependency, keep that dependency active and do not replace it with an unrelated revision.
| Bedrock version |
Compatibility |
Reason |
| 1.16.x |
Good for older utility packs |
Several item and entity files use 1.16 formats, but newer content may not load. |
| 1.17.x |
Good |
Many manifests declare minimum engine version 1.17.0. |
| 1.18.x |
Good |
Traveler's Backpack declares a 1.18.0 minimum and uses compatible older formats. |
| 1.19.x |
Good |
DisEnchanter and Forgotten Legends declare 1.19-era requirements. |
| 1.20.x |
Good |
The collection folder targets MCPE 1.20+, with many Bedrock JSON definitions. |
| 1.21.x |
Partial |
Older APIs, scripts, commands and experimental components may require replacement or conversion. |
| 1.22.x to 1.25.x |
Partial |
Pack behavior can work, but legacy script APIs, identifiers and command syntax may break. |
| 1.26+ |
Not officially supported |
No manifest in the collection declares 1.26+ compatibility; current Bedrock changes may require updates. |
- Missing textures: install the matching resource pack and place it above conflicting resource packs.
- Missing entities or commands: activate the behavior pack and all manifest dependencies.
- Recipes do not appear: confirm the behavior pack is active, then check the recipe book and namespace.
- World generation does not change: create a new world or explore new chunks after enabling structure and biome packs.
- Backpack storage disappears: restore the backup and avoid combining duplicate Backpack revisions.
- Script errors: older Better on Bedrock builds reference beta script modules that may not exist in modern Bedrock.
- Pack conflict: remove duplicate numbered or renamed revisions and test each pack family separately.
Can I install every folder at once? No. Several folders are revisions, resource and behavior pairs, or alternate packs. Install only the required pair or tested combination.
Does the collection add dragons? No verified dragon entity or egg system was found in the inspected files.
Can custom mobs be tamed and ridden? The inspected custom entities do not show reliable taming, saddle or riding components.
Which pack adds backpacks? Better on Bedrock and Traveler's Backpack both contain backpack systems. Do not run duplicate versions until each has been tested.
Which version should I use? The safest target is MCPE 1.20.x, while older packs may work on 1.17 to 1.19. Modern versions require testing.
Do I need a new world? A new world is recommended for biome, structure, dungeon and mineshaft packs. Item-only packs can often be added to an existing world after a backup.
