ArkCraft 4 is a large dinosaur-survival expansion for Minecraft Bedrock Edition that adds more than one hundred prehistoric creatures, tameable mounts, saddles, weapons, survival tools, custom structures, fishing systems, special resources, and several gameplay mechanics inspired by ARK: Survival Evolved. The folder also includes Azureculture 4.5 for expanded fishing and aquatic life, plus Atlas Trees for larger vanilla-style trees.
Instead of playing ordinary Minecraft, you can hunt, tame, ride, breed, fish, craft survival equipment, explore desert environments, collect narcotic resources, and build your own prehistoric base.
- ArkCraft 4 resource pack: textures, models, animations, sounds, UI assets, and visual effects.
- ArkCraft 4 behavior pack: dinosaurs, creatures, taming, riding, attacks, loot tables, blocks, functions, and recipes.
- Azureculture 4.5 resource pack: fishing textures, fish models, aquatic items, and language resources.
- Azureculture 4.5 behavior pack: fish entities, fishing mechanics, bait, fishing rods, cooking, and aquatic loot.
- Atlas Trees: larger and fuller trees generated through structure files.
- Custom blocks include a smithy, grill, narcoberry shrub, desert grass, desert flowers, and ArkCraft quartz ore.
- The addon contains custom saddles, tranquilizing ammunition, bolas, grappling equipment, fishing nets, spears, clubs, rifles, shotguns, armor, food, narcotics, stimulants, and taming supplies.

- Activate cheats if you want to test the addon quickly.
- Use the creative inventory and search for ArkCraft or Azureculture items.
- Use the correct namespace when using commands, such as
arkcraft:item_name or azc:item_name.
- Craft basic tools first, including a club, bola, bow, crossbow, fishing rod, spear, axe, and harvesting tools.
- Build a smithy and grill to unlock advanced equipment and food recipes.
- Locate a wild creature in its natural environment.
- Use a bola, club, tranquilizing arrow, narcotic arrow, or another suitable method to control or weaken it.
- Some creatures become tameable while sleeping or unconscious.
- Use the correct food or taming item. Examples include red taming paste, green taming paste, aquatic paste, meat-based food, and special creature food.
- Protect the creature from hostile mobs while the taming process is active.
- Use the Tame Guide crafted from leather to review the intended taming workflow.
The folder contains creature egg and loot-table resources, including a Pulmonoscorpius egg entry. However, a universal incubator block or a single documented egg-hatching workflow is not consistently defined across the extracted files. Egg behavior may therefore depend on the individual creature and the specific version of the behavior pack.
- Collect eggs from the relevant creature or loot table.
- Keep eggs in a safe area and test them with the creature-specific mechanics included by the pack.
- If an egg does not hatch, verify that both the ArkCraft behavior and resource packs are active.
- Do not assume that every dinosaur supports the same breeding or incubation process.
How to Raise and Maintain Tamed Creatures
- Feed carnivores with suitable meat or meat recipes.
- Feed herbivores with plant-based food and appropriate taming paste.
- Use narcotics and stimulants carefully because they are intended for different status effects.
- Use leads, strings, or follow-related tools to control movement.
- Use the available dialogue and command functions to switch attack, follow, movement, or special modes.
- Tame the creature first.
- Craft the correct saddle at the smithy. Examples include Argentavis, Quetzal, carnivore, herbivore, arthropod, fantasy, and Thorny Dragon saddles.
- Place the saddle on the tamed creature when the creature supports saddling.
- Interact with the creature to mount it.
- Flying creatures may use ground mode, air mode, hover movement, slow falling, and passenger seats.
- Use a grappling crossbow or hook when direct riding is not appropriate.
- Harvest narcoberries from the narcoberry shrub.
- Mine ArkCraft quartz ore for advanced crafting materials.
- Collect fiber, leather, wool, pelt, bones, teeth, chitin-like resources, oil, charcoal, and meat from the world and creature drops.
- Use fishing rods, bait, bobbers, fishing nets, and fishing spears to obtain Azureculture fish.
- Cook meat and fish with the grill or Azureculture cooking recipes.
- Search chests, underwater ruins, shipwrecks, desert pyramids, monster rooms, and other loot-table locations for special items.

If Minecraft asks for a resource pack dependency, keep ArkCraft 4 and ArkCraft 4 B together. Do not place duplicate versions of the same pack in the same world. If Azureculture fish appear invisible, move the Azureculture resource pack above unrelated resource packs.
| Minecraft Version |
Compatibility |
Reason |
| 1.16.100 to 1.18.x |
Partial |
Atlas Trees supports an older engine range, but Azureculture requires 1.19.40 and ArkCraft features may not work completely. |
| 1.19.40 |
Good |
Azureculture declares 1.19.40 as its minimum engine version. |
| 1.20.0 to 1.20.x |
Good |
The folder is intended for Minecraft Bedrock 1.20 and later, with legacy-compatible JSON files. |
| 1.21.0 to 1.21.x |
Good |
Most ArkCraft and Azureculture systems should work, although individual entities may need testing. |
| 1.22.x to 1.25.x |
Partial |
Older component formats, identifiers, experimental features, and deprecated behavior components may cause limited problems. |
| 1.26.0 and newer |
Partial |
No explicit manifest confirmation for this version was found. Future Bedrock changes may affect recipes, entities, or scripts. |
| Java Edition |
Not Supported |
The files use Minecraft Bedrock JSON, MCFunction, MCStructure, Bedrock resource packs, and Bedrock behavior packs. |
| Problem |
Solution |
| Creatures are invisible |
Activate the correct ArkCraft resource pack and place it above conflicting resource packs. |
| Items have missing textures |
Verify that the resource pack and behavior pack versions belong to the same addon release. |
| Recipes do not appear |
Use the smithy or the correct crafting tag. Some recipes are not ordinary crafting-table recipes. |
| Creatures cannot be tamed |
Use the correct taming food, knock the creature out when required, and confirm that the entity supports taming. |
| Saddles do not work |
Use the saddle designed for that creature. A generic saddle may not activate every mount. |
| Flying creatures remain on the ground |
Check that the creature is tamed, saddled, and using its correct flight interaction. Some species use separate ground and air states. |
| Fishing produces no custom fish |
Activate both Azureculture packs, use the correct fishing rod and bait, and fish in a suitable water environment. |
| World crashes after installation |
Remove duplicate pack versions, test each addon separately, and restore the world backup if necessary. |
| Structures or trees do not generate |
Confirm that the Atlas Trees behavior pack is active and that the world was created or loaded after activation. |
| Functions do not work |
Enable cheats, use the exact function name, and verify that the ArkCraft behavior pack is active. |
Yes. The addon contains survival recipes, taming resources, loot tables, custom blocks, food, weapons, saddles, and gathering systems.
No. Taming components are configured per creature. Hostile, aquatic, flying, and special creatures may use different mechanics or may not be tameable.
No. Only creatures with rideable components and an appropriate saddle can be ridden.
No. Some flying entities support hover or controlled flight, while others only use aerial animations or limited movement.
It expands fishing with new fish, bait, rods, bobbers, hooks, cooking results, turtles, frogs, whale-related items, and aquatic loot. Vanilla fishing may still remain available.
Some Minecraft versions may require experimental features for custom entities, scripts, or legacy components. Enable only the options requested by the installed version.
It may work, but duplicate identifiers, recipes, animations, textures, and entity families can cause conflicts. Test addons separately before combining them.
No. It is designed for Minecraft Bedrock and Minecraft PE.
No universal incubator system was clearly defined in the extracted files. Egg behavior appears to be creature-specific and should be tested with the installed version.
