- The Behavior Pack depends on the Resource Pack, so both packs must remain enabled together.
| Version |
Compatibility |
Reason |
| 1.16 and older |
Not supported |
The manifest declares a minimum engine version of 1.17.0. |
| 1.17 |
Good |
Matches the minimum engine version declared by both manifests. |
| 1.18 |
Good |
Uses compatible legacy Bedrock item and entity formats. |
| 1.19 |
Good |
The addon is suitable for the 1.19 generation of MCPE. |
| 1.20 |
Good |
Generally compatible with the advertised 1.19–1.20 range. |
| 1.21 |
Partial |
Legacy item components and command behavior may require experimental settings or adjustments. |
| 1.22–1.25 |
Partial and unverified |
The original files do not declare or test these versions. Rendering and item behavior may change. |
| 1.26+ |
Partial and unverified |
Compatibility is not guaranteed because the addon was built with older Bedrock formats. |
| Problem |
Solution |
| Weapons appear invisible |
Enable both packs and place Tacticool RP above conflicting resource packs. |
| Weapons have no sound |
Check that Tacticool RP is enabled and that another sound pack is not overriding the sound definitions. |
| Weapon does not fire |
Use the correct magazine, hold the weapon in the main hand, and test in a new world with both packs enabled. |
| Magazine does not reload the weapon |
Confirm that the magazine matches the weapon type. AKM, M9, MP5, M82, P226, PP90, and T21 use different magazine systems. |
| Attachments do not appear |
Use a compatible attachment and run /function reset before testing again. |
| Errors appear after updating Minecraft |
Test the addon in a version close to 1.17–1.20 and enable experimental features where necessary. |
| Other addons stop working |
Move Tacticool packs higher in the load order or test them in a separate world. |
| Items cannot be crafted |
This release contains no custom recipe files. Use Creative mode or the /give command. |
No. TactiCOOL is a firearms and tactical equipment addon. It does not add dragons or fantasy creatures.
No custom crafting recipes are included in this release. Weapons and equipment must be obtained from Creative inventory or commands.
Yes. The Behavior Pack provides functionality, while the Resource Pack provides models, textures, sounds, and animations.
No. The files are designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition and MCPE.
You can try, but item identifiers, sounds, animations, and render controllers may conflict. A separate test world is recommended.
The behavior functions track ammunition counts and replace the loaded weapon with an empty version when its magazine reaches zero.
The Resource Pack contains custom armor models and attachables. The exact protection behavior depends on the armor item configuration and the Minecraft version.
No. Version 1.26+ compatibility is unverified because the addon manifest and item files target older Bedrock formats.
